Flu and COVID Vaccines

The NHS runs an influenza (Flu) vaccination programme each year beginning in the autumn. If you are eligible, you can receive this vaccination for free which can help protect you against becoming unwell with Flu.

Please note that for this year, the NHS is not offering the flu vaccine for 50-64 year olds who are not classed as 'at risk' as they have in previous years. 

We stagger our invites so it may be that somebody you know receives theirs earlier than you. If you are eligible, we will send you an invite to have your vaccination here at Mather Avenue Surgery. 

COVID Vaccine

At present, COVID vaccinations are not being given by us, Mather Avenue Surgery. If you are eligible you will receive an invitation but this will come from the NHS, not Mather Avenue Surgery. As such, we won't be able to help with queries about when and where you'll be able to have your vaccine. Please use the NHS and Government websites for up to date information about this autumn's booster programme.
